CHI WALKING LEVEL 1
During this workshop you will learn:
1. Specific Chi Walking Techniques: how to align your body with proper Posture,
engage your Core, YOUR perfect stride length, and what to do with your feet. We will
complete two 10-minute walks during this session so you can feel your new walking
technique. You will learn how to avoid injuries and have more energy so you can walk
faster or longer without pain.
2. Chi Skills:
o Focusing: You will learn how to practice being “mindful” while walking and in
your everyday life.
o Body Sensing: You will learn how to observe, feel, listen and react to what your
body is telling you. Our bodies talk to us all the time.
o Flexibility: You will learn how to become more flexible physically (Chi Walking
Body Looseners and stretches) and mentally
o Breathing: Proper breathing can energize, calm, cleanse or empower the body as
well as the mind.
o Gradual Progress: you will learn the importance of taking baby steps to learn

CHI WALKING LEVEL 2
$60 for 2 hours: includes Chi Walking Book & Workbook and video gait analysis.
Limited space for 10 people.
During this workshop you will learn:
1. Specific Chi Walking Techniques: quick review from Level 1. We will go into
more detail on lower body focuses and pelvic rotation, how to balance these with your
upper body. I will also introduce the use of a metronome to help you be more energy
efficient. We will walk for short periods of time to practice new skills.
2. Chi Skills:
o Consistency: create a consistent walking program for lifelong health and energy
o Program Development: create a vision, assess yourself physically and mentally,
and set realistic goals for a lifelong practice
- Chi Walking Matrix: learn the 12 different types of Chi Walks. Select the walk
that is right for you depending on the type of energy you need in your life at that
time (grounding, focusing, meditative, etc).
3. Video Analysis: I will videotape all participants. You'll get a chance to get specific,
individual feedback on your form and learn from the other participants as well.
These 2 hour classes are held at the Lexington Hotel and are limited to 10 people (min 4).
